Customer Notice: Peak Season Surcharge (PSS)
Dear Valued Customer,
Swire Shipping wishes to advise that due to escalating operating costs resulting from port congestion, equipment imbalance, and increased cargo demand, a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) will be introduced, effective from 1st July 2024:
The increase which will be applied as a PSS Surcharge will be invoiced to the freight payer for any shipment with a Bill of Lading date of 1st July 2024 or later.
For ports regulated by the Shanghai Shipping Exchange, introduction of the PSS will be done in compliance with filing and application requirements.
