US West Coast to/from Pacific Islands Service – Vessel Name Change
POLYNESIA to SONGA TIGER
Dear Valued Customers,
Swire Shipping would like to advise customers of an upcoming vessel name change affecting
our PLY Service.
The vessel currently operating as POLYNESIA will be renamed SONGA TIGER during voyages
2612N and 2614S. The name change will take place following completion of cargo operations
in Long Beach, prior to the vessel’s subsequent port call in Oakland.
Please note that this is an administrative change only and will have no impact on service
schedules, cargo operations, vessel rotation, or planned future voyages. Customers can
continue to book and ship cargo with confidence, with no disruption to the service expected
as a result of this change.
As part of the transition, some bookings and shipping documentation may require updates to
reflect the vessel’s new name. Our Customer Service teams will proactively contact any
affected customers and provide revised documentation where necessary.
