Due to continuing increase in costs associated with managing COVID-19 requirements, Swire Shipping wishes to advise that we will be implementing a COVID Compliance Fee.
The surcharge will cover introduced sanitary fees at terminals and COVID-19 testing which is required for Swire Shipping to remain compliant with various department policies on this trade lane.
This charge will be reviewed as the requirements for COVID-19 change.
All containers loading on the Polynesia Service, to and from the US West Coast, will be subject to the surcharge, effective 15th March 2021:
• Per 20’ Container – USD 12.00
• Per 40’ Container – USD 24.00
