South Pacific Network Update


Dear Valued Customers,


NPDL is pleased to advise our new vessel the M/V Capitaine Magellan will enter into service in our South Pacific network in early February, she will be initially deployed in the New Zealand to French Polynesia trade sailing from Auckland on the 9th February, 2021. The M/V Capitaine Magellan is Singapore flagged 631 TEU / 7775 gross ton multipurpose vessel, she operates with 2 x 40mt cargo cranes, 30 reefer plugs and is well suited to servicing the South Pacific trades.

The arrival of the Capitaine Magellan is the catalyst for some changes in our
network which are outlined below for your reference:


• The Southern Pearl will complete the northbound voyage 1473 in the New Zealand to French Polynesia service in Papeete on the 30th January 2021. She will then sail to Suva to commence deployment in our Fiji based services. Her initial voyage will be in the Fiji to Kiribati trades on the following schedule (ETA’s):

o Suva 5/2
o Lautoka 7/2
o Tarawa 12/2
o Kiritimati 20/2
o Suva 3/3


• As above the Capitaine Magellan will commence in Auckland on the 7/2 with the following schedule (ETA’s):
o Auckland 7/2
o Papeete 16/2
o Auckland 26/2
